GEODES – What they are, How they are formed and Where they are foundScheduled Sep 21, 2010“GEODES – WHAT THEY ARE, HOW THEY ARE FORMED AND WHERE THEY ARE FOUND” will be the topic of speaker Steve Tchozeski at the Indian Mounds Rock & Mineral Club, 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Wesley Park UMC, 1150 32nd Street, Wyoming. We will take an in depth look at geodes and learn about their formation and location. You will have the opportunity to select a geode and he will break it open for you to discover their unique mineral deposits. Tchozeski presents earth science /geology programs to students in Kindergarten – 12th grades. This program will be especially interesting to students young and old. Everyone welcome.
