Ignite your kids love of science with three days of exciting “hands-on” space experiences that provide learning outcomes that meet both middle and high school science standards! Here are just some of the projects your kids will accomplish during this Space Camp Experience: build a gigantic scale model of our solar system, drive a remote rover across a Martian landscape, create a real comet from dry ice, race the speed of light across our galaxy, build and launch multiple rockets while investigating mass, drag, acceleration, and gravity, explore what it's really like to live on the International Space Station, and learn what it takes to put a rocket into Earth’s orbit at 17,500 mph! Mission: Space Camp will “blast off” at the Home School Building in Wyoming, Michigan from 9am-12pm Monday August 16th through Wednesday August 18th. *$45.00 for the three-day camp.
