This Fall - Dave Ramsey's Finance Class for High School Students

Dave Ramsey FOUNDATIONS OF PERSONAL FINANCE, a high school math class, is being offered on Thursdays, 10:00-11:30 am for the 2010/2011 school year at HSB. This class meets the State of Michigan 4th year math graduation requirement.

Course topics include: saving, budgeting, cash flow planning, debt, consumer buying habits, credit, credit reports and collections, investing, wealth building, college financial planning, understanding insurance, real estate and mortgages, and giving. We're planning on guest speakers from various aspects of the financial industry, during the course of the school year.

Two 14-week session, beginning September 9, 2010.
Registration deadline - August 2, 2010.
Cost: $275

Text: Foundations of Personal Finance, by Dave Ramsey. The text is free to the first 60 students enrolling. All courseware is being provided by a generous donation form Macatawa Bank.
