It’s up to you! Once again, Bonnie Spaanstra, Registered Nurse, veteran homeschooling mom (both daughters now college graduates!) and Biology and Dissection instructor since 1995, will be presenting Biology labs each month during the 2010/2011 school year from September through April (no labs in December). Geared toward a senior high/adult level, younger students are welcome to participate with a parent or high-schooler. Parents may wish to learn techniques, then bring home your new knowledge to pass on to your children. Dissection guides and additional paperwork will be sent to participants prior to the lab session, to help familiarize the student with the materials we’ll be covering. Students will generally dissect both specimens listed. Duplicate labs will be held three times each month .... Second Tuesday mornings, from 9 am-12 noon OR Third Tuesday mornings, from 9 am-12 noon OR Second Tuesday evenings, from 6-9 pm (note time change from previous years) All labs held at the Home School Building, 5625 Burlingame S.W. Wyoming. To sign up for labs, or for more information, contact Bonnie. A website is available for a list of labs and detailed descriptions at - http://www.homeschoolersbiologylabs.com For more information: Bonnie Spaanstra 616.530.1764 SPAANSTRA2@aol.com |
